Welcome to Daffodilian Getaways. This Handbook is designed to guide Independent Travel Agents affiliated with Daffodilian Getaways under our revised Independent Agent Program. It outlines daily operations, professional standards, booking rules, commission practices, compliance requirements, and how we work together.
This Handbook works together with the Independent Travel Agent Agreement and Company Policies. In the event of any conflict, the Independent Travel Agent Agreement shall prevail.
1. About Daffodilian Getaways
Daffodilian Getaways operates as a hosted travel agency providing Independent Travel Agents with access to approved booking systems, operational oversight, and administrative support.
- Host Agency: Daffodilian Getaways
- Flight Provider: Airnets International
- Business Model: Independent, commission-only agents affiliated under one compliant system
Agents may build their own business identity while remaining fully compliant with Company policies and supplier rules.
2. Agent Status & Professional Conduct
2.1 Independent Contractor Status
- You are an independent contractor, not an employee of Daffodilian Getaways
- You manage your own schedule, clients, and marketing activities
- You are responsible for your own taxes, licensing (if applicable), and business obligations
- No salary, benefits, or guaranteed income is provided
2.2 Professional Expectations
Agents must:
- Act honestly, ethically, and professionally at all times
- Communicate clearly and transparently with clients
- Accurately represent airline rules, fares, and restrictions
- Protect customer trust and Company reputation
- Unprofessional conduct may result in suspension or termination.
3. Booking Policies & Authorized Channels
3.1 Flight Bookings
- All flight bookings must be processed exclusively through Airnets International
- Bookings must be completed within the Daffodilian Getaways Agent Portal
- Agents may not issue or arrange flights outside of Airnets International under the Company’s name
3.2 Hotels, Tours & Other Services
- Hotels, tours, cruises, and other travel services are handled exclusively by the Company
- Agents do not have access to the Company’s private supplier accounts for non-flight services
- Agents must coordinate with Admin when non-flight components are required
3.3 Admin Visibility & Oversight
- All bookings are visible to Admin at all times
- Admin may review, assist, correct, or intervene when required
- Agents must not hide, reroute, or manipulate bookings
4. Accuracy & Documentation
Agents must:
- Verify passenger names exactly as shown on government-issued ID or passport
- Confirm travel dates, routes, and fare rules before ticketing
- Secure and document client approvals
- Errors caused by Agent negligence may result in Agent liability.
5. Customer Interaction Rules
DO:
- Clearly explain fare rules, penalties, and restrictions
- Confirm booking details before issuing tickets
- Maintain written records of client approvals
- Be transparent about refund and change limitations
DO NOT:
- Promise refunds or changes not permitted by airline rules
- Alter pricing after client confirmation
- Misrepresent airline or supplier policies
- Pressure clients into unnecessary purchases
6. Pricing, Payments & Authorization
- All payments must be properly authorized by the customer
- Agents must use only Company-approved payment processes
- Off-platform or personal payment collection is strictly prohibited
Agents must never store:
- Credit card numbers
- CVV codes
- Banking credentials
7. Commission Policy Overview
7.1 Commission Structure
- Commissions are based on rolling 12-month sales volume
- Commission eligibility is determined only after supplier commission is received by the Company
7.2 Cancellations & Chargebacks
- Canceled or refunded bookings void commission eligibility
- Chargebacks or disputes may result in commission reversal
- If commission has already been paid, amounts may be deducted from future payouts or repaid by the Agent
7.3 Commission Payments
- Commission tracking is available through the Agent Portal
- Commissions are paid monthly, subject to verification and adjustments
8. Client Ownership
- All clients, booking records, and transactional data are the property of Daffodilian Getaways
- Agents retain access to client information only while actively affiliated
- Upon termination or inactivity, client access may be revoked
9. Minimum Activity Requirement
To remain active, Agents must meet at least one of the following:
- One (1) confirmed booking within a six (6) month period, or
- Minimum annual sales of $1,000
- Inactive Agents may be deactivated at the Company’s discretion.
10. Confidentiality & NDA Rules
Agents must protect all confidential information, including:
- Supplier access and systems
- Pricing structures and workflows
- Internal procedures and tools
- Customer data
Strictly prohibited:
- Sharing system access or login credentials
- Screenshots or distribution of internal tools
- Selling, transferring, or misusing customer data
- Confidentiality obligations survive termination indefinitely.
11. Data Protection & Privacy
Agents must:
- Comply with applicable privacy and data protection laws
- Access customer data only for legitimate booking purposes
- Secure login credentials at all times
- Unauthorized data use may result in immediate termination.
12. Branding & Marketing Guidelines
Allowed:
- Use your own business name
- Market services truthfully and professionally
- State affiliation as an Independent Travel Agent with Daffodilian Getaways
Not Allowed:
- Claim airline accreditation unless expressly authorized
- Misuse Company branding or logos
- Create false promotions or misleading discounts
13. Communication with Admin
Agents must:
- Respond promptly to Admin inquiries
- Report booking issues or errors immediately
- Use official communication channels
- Failure to communicate may delay bookings or commission payouts.
14. Prohibited Activities
Agents must not:
- Commit fraud or misrepresentation
- Bypass approved booking systems
- Share accounts or passwords
- Engage in illegal or unethical booking activity
- Violations may result in immediate termination.
15. Complaints, Errors & Disputes
- Agents must notify Admin of any client complaint promptly
- Errors must be reported immediately upon discovery
- Admin will determine resolution steps
- Agents may be held responsible for losses caused by negligence
16. Termination & Exit Policy
Upon termination:
- Portal access is revoked immediately
- Outstanding commissions may be reviewed or adjusted
- Confidentiality and data protection obligations remain in effect
17. Updates & Amendments
Daffodilian Getaways may update this Handbook at any time. Continued affiliation constitutes acceptance of revisions.

By operating as an Independent Travel Agent affiliated with Daffodilian Getaways, you confirm that you:
- Have read and understood this Handbook
- Agree to follow all policies and procedures
- Understand this Handbook supports the Independent Travel Agent Agreement
