Refund & Cancellation Policy – Daffodilian Getaways
Daffodilian Getaways operates as an independent travel agency and affiliate partner. We facilitate travel bookings through third-party travel suppliers (including airlines, hotels, tour operators, and other providers). While we may collect payments via Stripe and, with client authorization, pay suppliers on your behalf, all bookings are governed by the terms and policies of the travel suppliers.
1. Refund Policy
- Refund eligibility, processing time, and refund amounts are determined solely by the travel supplier or booking platform.
- Refund requests must generally be submitted in accordance with the supplier’s policies. Where applicable, Daffodilian Getaways may assist in submitting or tracking a request but cannot guarantee approval.
- Agency fees, booking fees, service fees, processing fees, convenience fees, and financing-related fees are strictly non-refundable, regardless of the outcome of a supplier refund request.
- If a supplier authorizes a refund, Daffodilian Getaways will process the refund through the original payment method (via Stripe or other approved platform), less any applicable agency, service, or processing fees.
- Refunds may be partial, delayed, or denied depending on supplier rules. A full refund is not guaranteed.
2. Cancellations & Changes
- All cancellations, changes, or modifications are subject to the individual policies of the travel supplier.
- Supplier-imposed penalties, cancellation fees, change fees, fare differences, or non-refundable components are the sole responsibility of the client.
- Daffodilian Getaways cannot waive, override, or reduce supplier fees or penalties.
- Clients are strongly advised to review cancellation and change policies carefully before confirming any booking.
3. Agency Payments & Authorization
- By booking through Daffodilian Getaways, you authorize us to process payments via Stripe or other approved payment platforms.
- Payments collected may be used to pay travel suppliers on your behalf.
- Clients remain responsible for all supplier-imposed charges, including penalties arising from cancellations, changes, no-shows, or unused services.
- All agency fees are earned upon booking and are non-refundable, even if the booking is later changed or cancelled.
4. Limitation of Responsibility
- Daffodilian Getaways provides access to third-party travel suppliers and facilitates bookings as an intermediary only.
- We are not responsible for supplier errors, service failures, schedule changes, insolvency, or disputes between the client and the supplier.
- All refund, cancellation, and service-related matters are governed by the supplier’s terms and conditions.
5. Client Support
- While we cannot issue refunds independently or override supplier decisions, we will provide reasonable assistance in communicating with suppliers regarding refunds, cancellations, or changes.
- Clients must cooperate and provide any required documentation requested by the supplier to support refund or cancellation requests.
6. Governing Law
This Refund & Cancellation Policy is governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada, and applies to all bookings made through Daffodilian Getaways.
