Daffodilian Getaways – In-House Financing Terms & Conditions
Welcome to Daffodilian Getaways (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These In-House Financing Terms & Conditions (“Financing Terms”) govern your enrollment in and use of our in-house financing payment plans for travel bookings. By selecting in-house financing, you (“Customer”, “you”, or “your”) agree to these Financing Terms in full.
1. Definitions
In-House Financing: A payment plan offered directly by Daffodilian Getaways allowing Customers to pay for travel services over time.
Automatic Payment (PAD): Pre-authorized debit or automatic card charge authorized by the Customer for scheduled payments.
Booking Fee: A non-refundable fee charged to secure travel arrangements.
Convenience Fee: A fee charged for payment handling, financing administration, and convenience of installment payments.
NSF (Non-Sufficient Funds): A failed payment due to insufficient funds, declined card, or invalid payment method.
2. Acceptance of Financing Terms
By enrolling in in-house financing, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Financing Terms. These terms form part of Daffodilian Getaways’ overall Terms & Conditions.
3. Payment Authorization & Automatic Deduction
All payments under in-house financing are automatically deducted from the payment method provided by the Customer (credit card, debit card, or bank account/PAD).
By enrolling, you authorize Daffodilian Getaways to charge your payment method according to the agreed payment schedule.
You are responsible for maintaining a valid payment method with sufficient funds at all times.
4. Booking Fees, Downpayment & Charges
A booking fee of 10%–20% of the total booking cost applies and is non-refundable.
A downpayment may be required, depending on the total booking amount, approval status, or payment plan selected.
The booking fee and downpayment are required to confirm and secure travel arrangements.
5. Processing, Card & Convenience Fees
Processing Fee: 3%–5% per transaction.
Card Fee: Applies based on the card type used.
Convenience Fee:
Standard Customers: $0.99–10% of total booking or $100–$500, depending on approval, total booking value, and payment structure.
VIP / Loyal Customers: Reduced convenience fee of 0.99%–3% and eligibility for discounts on other applicable fees, as determined by Daffodilian Getaways.
All applicable fees will be disclosed prior to confirmation.
6. Failed Payments & NSF Fees
1st Failed Payment: A $50 NSF fee is applied.
2nd Failed Payment: A $50 NSF fee plus a $25 processing fee is applied. The account must be brought current immediately.
3rd or Subsequent Failed Payments: Daffodilian Getaways reserves the right to cancel all travel services, including flights, hotels, and other reservations.
7. Cancellation Due to Non-Payment
If a booking is canceled due to failed payments or non-compliance with the payment schedule, all amounts already paid remain non-refundable.
Cancellation of travel services does not relieve the Customer of financial responsibility.
The Customer remains fully obligated to pay the remaining outstanding balance, even if travel is canceled.
8. Collections & Legal Action
Any unpaid balance may be referred to collections or legal action.
The Customer agrees to be responsible for legal fees, collection costs, and administrative expenses incurred in recovering outstanding balances, where permitted by law.
9. Customer Responsibilities
Ensure sufficient funds are available for all scheduled payments.
Monitor payment schedules and account statements.
Notify Daffodilian Getaways immediately if payment issues are anticipated.
10. Modifications to Financing Terms
Daffodilian Getaways reserves the right to update or modify these Financing Terms at any time. Changes take effect upon posting or written notice. Continued participation in in-house financing constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
11. Governing Law
These Financing Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Alberta, Canada.
